Blackhawks-NHL record points in 19 games this seasson

Is winter time, so is time for some NHL news today.

My favorite NHL team is Chicago Blackhawks. I hope that this year they will win again the Stanley Cup like they did it in 2009-2010 season.Last year they were so close, but they lost in playoffs against Phoenix Coyotes, after a blindside hit on Marian Hossa in Game 3, forcing him out of the series with an upper body injury. But now is a different story, new season, new expectations and everybody is confident in this young and talented team.On February 22, 2013 the Chicago Blackhawks added a victory to their NHL record-breaking season by defeating the San Jose Sharks in a 2-1 win in order to break the NHL record for most consecutive games while receiving a point. The Blackhawks set the record at 19 games with their record being 16-0-3.

They played 3 games in four nights, but they made it and won all of them.In the last game with Edmonton Oilers they had a very tough game.but they twice came back from a one-goal deficit and forced extra time with a third-period goal by Viktor Stalberg. Then Marian Hossa scored the game-ending goal for a 3-2 overtime win to extend their NHL-record points streak to 19 games to start the season.

This team has a great spirit, they fight all the time, every game I see dedication and respect for the fans and for the game..Maybe this it will be the year when the Stanley Cup comes back home to Chicago.
